About the event
LeJuane El’Ja Bowens will serve as a guest facilitator for a youth writing workshop with Young Lions Roar at the YWCA in Rock Island, IL on June 25th, 2026. Bowens will guide young writers through creative expression, storytelling, and finding their voice, encouraging confidence, authenticity, and the power of words as tools for self-expression and change.
